Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what proportion of properties purchased in (a) London and (b) the UK have been purchased through shared ownership in the each of the last three years; and on what proportion of those transactions the purchaser opted to pay Stamp Duty Land Tax on the full market value of the property rather than on their percentage of the property.

The requested information is not held. Purchasers are not required to state on the Stamp Duty Land Tax return whether or not the property is bought through shared ownership.
