Armoured Fighting Vehicles

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether the first delivery of vehicles from the Mechanised Infantry Vehicle (MIV) programme will take place in 2021; and whether the date for the first MIV-equipped battlegroup to reach an initial operational capability is set for the start of 2023.

The precise delivery schedule of the Mechanised Infantry Vehicle (MIV) is yet to be confirmed. The project assessment phase will determine the timing and delivery sequence for the Army's new Strike Brigades.
