Driving Licences: Digital Technology

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether he has had discussions with representatives of (a) Apple and (b) other mobile phone businesses on phone based digital driving licences.
This question was answered on 18th January 2023
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency held a supplier day in June 2022 with suppliers to gauge market interest. Around thirty companies took part, Apple was not present.
