Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether his Department still plans to establish two Strike Brigades.

Consistent with the Strategic Defence and Security Review 2015, the Army plans to establish two Strike brigades. The Strike brigades will offer increased operational agility and responsiveness to Defence. For a recent update on the progress towards establishing this capability, I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave her on 11 December 2017 to Question 117878.
