Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what steps his Department is taking to improve methodology for accounting for and attributing savings more accurately.

The Ministry of Defence has implemented a robust governance process for the delivery of the £7.4 billion efficiency target from the 2015 Spending Review. We are committed to delivering the target in full and good progress has been made. We are forecasting 'line of sight' to 90% of the £7.4 billion target over the Spending Review Period (2020-21) and all savings are being reinvested in the Defence budget.
