Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether his Department plans to treat fleet solid support ships as warships for tendering purposes.
This question was answered on 25th January 2018
The National Shipbuilding Strategy makes clear that all non-warships, which includes the Fleet Solid Support vessels, will be subject to international competition.
