The UK Government has had an ambitious Modern Slavery Strategy in place since 2014. Significant progress has been made in implementing the Strategy which has been monitored through performance indicators relating to individual parts of the Strategy.

The 2017 UK Annual Report on Modern Slavery details the steps the UK has taken to combat modern slavery including through implementation of the Modern Slavery Strategy. The report is available at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/2017-uk-annual-report-on-modern-slavery
