To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many and what proportion of people referred through the National Referral Mechanism for victims of modern slavery have made claims for asylum in the UK.

Data on the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) are published regularly by the National Crime Agency and in the UK Annual Report on Modern Slavery. These reports are available via the following links:
