Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, whether his Department has developed contingency plans for the possibility of the collapse of Interserve since that company issued a profit warning in September 2017.

We have in place a number of arrangements to ensure the effective management of contracts.

Contingency plans are prepared in line with good contract management and standard industry practice. These are commercially sensitive and, as such, are not subject to release.
