Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will make an assessment of the effect of changes in exchange rates on the affordability of the Equipment Plan.

The Ministry of Defence considers the impact of foreign exchange as part of its routine financial management and builds appropriate levels of contingency into the Defence budget and equipment plan.
