Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what assessment his Department has made of the reasons for recent trends in the use of electronic monitoring orders.

The number of notifications of new Court Orders (community orders, suspended sentence orders and bail orders) with an electronic monitoring requirement has fallen in recent years, this reflects a similar trend in overall numbers of court cases.
