Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to the Oral contribution of Lord Ahmed of Wimbledon on 23 March 2015, Official Report, column GC331, what progress has been made on undertaking a review of the effect of changes to the selective licensing of houses; and if he will make a statement.

The Department has sought to ensure that the selective licensing review can be informed by a number of applications for large scale schemes that were submitted during the second half of 2017. The Department is now in a position to begin the review and will do so shortly.
