Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many (a) officers and (b) other ranks from the (i) Royal Navy, (ii) Royal Marines, (iii) British Army and (iv) RAF are embedded with (A) United States military forces and (B) the US Department of Defense.

Given the routine nature of embedding, some of the information requested is not coordinated centrally. We are now in the process of collecting data and I will write to the hon. Member in due course.
