As part of the recently announced package of the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), Government committed to adopting the Trafficking Survivor Care Standards drafted by the Human Trafficking Foundation with contributions from a range of non-governmental organisations, including a number of subcontractors of the Victim Care Contract.

We are currently working with stakeholders, including subcontractors of the Victim Care Contract, to update the standards and design a compliance regime. The standards will then be incorporated into future care contracts for adult victims of modern slavery. In the meantime, we will work with subcontractors to ensure they are meeting the minimum standards.
