Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many young offenders institutions and secure training centres in England and Wales have live link facilities to allow children to take part in court proceedings over video from their custodial setting.
This question was answered on 14th February 2018
All under 18 Young Offender Institutions (Cookham Wood, Feltham, Wetherby, Werrington and Parc) have Prison Court Video Link facilities. These facilities are not available in the three Secure Training Centres at Medway, Oakhill and Rainsbrook.
