Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many magistrates there were in (a) 2016-17, (b) 2015-16, (c) 2014-15, (d) 2013-14, (e) 2012-13, (f) 2011-12 and (g) 2010-11.

The number of magistrates in each year from 1 April 2010 to 1 April 2016 is already in the public domain.
