Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what plans he has to mitigate the costs to business of the implementation of the EU Medium Combustion Plant Directive.

Under the Medium Combustion Plant Directive, businesses are able to plan ahead, as existing plants benefit from later dates for compliance with emission limit values, to 2025 or 2030 depending on their size.
