To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what plans he has to encourage employers to adopt hash validation in their PAYE Real Time Information returns.

This information is not available centrally, and could be researched only at disproportionate cost.

HMRC has published guidance to help and support employers with the hash validation process. HMRC continue to work with customers to help and support employer education to improve the accuracy and timeliness of RTI data.
