This financial year (2020/21) we are forecasting to spend in excess of £63m on the Probation Estate which will allow us to progress critical maintenance works relating to fire safety and security; and progress vital repair works including lifts, showers and also redecoration. We have secured an additional £10m this financial year to invest in Approved Premises. This investment, alongside our probation reform programme will lead to an improved standard of accommodation for Probation staff and users.
