Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether she has made a recent assessment of UK aid funds to ensure that they do not support Russian geo-strategic interests.

The FCDO utilises overseas development assistance funding across Eastern Europe and Central Asia, in line with the aid strategy. This simultaneously limits the ability of malign state actors, to achieve their strategic interests, while also strengthening the resilience of our partners' institutions and communities, which in turn reduces the risks reaching the UK.
