Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether personnel deployed on Operation Orbital receive the (a) Longer Separation Allowance and (b) Local Overseas Allowance.
This question was answered on 1st March 2018
Personnel deployed on Operations ORBITAL and CABRIT are in receipt of the Deployable Welfare Package, which includes Longer Separation Allowance. This means they are not eligible for a Local Overseas Allowance.
