Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the Answer of 5 February 2018 to Question 125158, on teachers: training, what (a) criteria and (b) assessment tools Ofsted uses to judge the quality of the (i) training, (ii) leadership and management and (iii) ability to meet the framework of core content of an initial teacher training partnership.

This is a matter for Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector, Amanda Spielman. I have asked her to write to the hon. Member and a copy of her reply will be placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
