Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 9 February 2018 to Question 126482, what estimate his Department made of the cost of providing the information sought.

As stated in the answer to Question 126482, the Department doesn’t record the information in this manner. Hundreds of thousands of individual maintenance tasks are undertaken across the prison estate each year, therefore to provide this information would require a detailed analysis of each of these tasks.
