Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the weight of British Army Challenger 2 tanks will be that have gone through the CR2 Life Extension Programme.
This question was answered on 6th March 2018
The Challenger 2 (CR2) Life Extension Programme is currently in the competitive assessment phase with the main investment decision planned for mid-2019. It is not possible to determine the future weight of CR2 until a successful bidder has been chosen.
