Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how long the average unpaid work requirement handed down by the courts as part of community orders in each year since 2010 was.

Courts may impose up to 300 hours of unpaid work as part of a community sentence or suspended sentence order. The average number of hours of unpaid work handed down by the courts per requirement as part of community orders in each year since 2010 can be viewed in the attached table.
