Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many (a) officers and (b) other ranks were discharged on medical grounds from the (i) Royal Navy, (ii) Army and (iii) RAF in each of the last five years.

The following numbers of UK Armed Forces personnel were medically discharged in each of the last five Financial Years, broken down by Service, Officer and Other Rank are shown in the attached table.
