Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, when the amended Control of Trade in Endangered Species (Enforcement) regulations will (a) be published and (b) come into force.
This question was answered on 14th March 2018
The consolidated regulations, Control of Trade in Endangered Species Regulations 2018, will be laid before Parliament this spring. Subject to parliamentary clearance the regulations will come into force before the end of the year.
