Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what estimate he has made of the proportion of (a) military personnel and (b) civilian support staff based in Scotland have an annual salary of £33,000 or less.

As at 1 October 2017, 59% of military staff and 73% of civilian support staff based in Scotland had an annual salary of £33,000 or less. The tables below provide further detail of salaries paid.
