Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the answer of 8 March 2018 to Question 131079 on Children's Centres, if he will publish the evidence his Department gathered on children's centres.

I refer the hon. Member for Batley and Spen to the answer I gave on 8 March 2018 to question 131079 and the answer I gave on 1 February 2018 to question 125413.

The government intends to work with sector leaders to identify how best to achieve the social mobility ambition set out in the report ‘Unlocking Talent, Fulfilling Potential’, including through children’s centres.
