Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what discussions he had with the Prime Minister, prior to the announcement of London and the South East being placed in Tier 4, on the potential effect of changing the previous Christmas travel plans for 23 to 27 December on the rail network.

The Secretary of the State for Transport and the Prime Minister meet regularly to discuss issues related to the pandemic.
