Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many personnel from which units are currently assigned to duties supporting the Royal Navy's Joint Expeditionary Force (Maritime).

The Joint Expeditionary Force (Maritime) (JEF(M)) is the Royal Navy's expeditionary task force maintained at high readiness and available at short notice to respond to unexpected global events.
We do not comment on matters relating to the force structure or future planning assumptions of the JEF(M) as this would, or would be likely to, prejudice the capability, effectiveness or security of the Armed Forces.
