Fleet Solid Support Ships: Procurement

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what progress his Department has made on procuring fleet support ships for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary; and if he will make a statement.
This question was answered on 16th April 2018
The Fleet Solid Support ships are being procured through international competition. The project began a four-year assessment phase in April 2016 and has recently completed a period of market engagement with UK and international shipbuilders.
