To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many NHS dentists there were in England in each of the last five years.

NHS Dental Statistics for England, published by NHS Digital, includes information on the number of dentists undertaking National Health Service activity. The number of NHS dentists in each of the last five years is summarised in the table below.
