Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what proportion of job roles advertised within his Department in (a) 2016 and (b) 2017 excluded the box under the Ban the Box initiative.

100 per cent of roles advertised by the Department during (a) 2016 and (b) 2017 excluded the box under the Ban the Box initiative. The Department was compliant with the Ban the Box initiative prior to the Civil Service adopting the policy as a default position in February 2016.
