Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, with reference to the Ministry of Justice: spend control data for April 2022 to June 2022, published on 30 September 2022, if he will publish a breakdown of how the £15 million on Additional Commercial Professional Services was spent.

There has been no spend under the proposed contract for “Commercial Advice & Professional Support for CCMD Projects”. The requirement has been reviewed and the contract will not be going ahead as originally anticipated. CCMD have since recruited a combination of permanent and interim staff to meet the immediate needs.
