Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many indulgence passages have been granted by the RAF to (a) service personnel by branch of the armed forces and (b) civilians in each of the last five years; and to which overseas locations those passages were granted.

Statistics about concessionary travel undertaken prior to Financial Year 2017/2018 are not held. Details of the number of concessionary visits and the locations for the last financial year are provided in the following table, although there is no business requirement to hold data in a way that allows travel by military and civilian personnel to be separately recorded.
