The Secretary of State for Justice has not had any discussions with the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on the implications of the decision of the High Court in Peel Port Shareholder Finance Co v Dornoch Ltd [2017] EWHC 876 (TCC) for the conduct of legal proceedings in relation to which the defendant may have public liability insurance.
