Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what the cost to the public purse has been of expenses for prison officers in each year since 2010.

We are unable to provide the data requested, as the expenses records that we have are not able to be broken down to the level of grade of staff, therefore it is not possible to identify which expenses were for Prison Officers only.
