Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, when he will publish the (a) 2016 and (b) 2017 versions of the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory.

As usual, the 2016 air pollutant emissions corresponding to the UK National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (NAEI) will be published in summer 2018. Likewise the 2017 air pollutant emissions data (2017 NAEI) will be published in summer 2019, all as part of our normal annual inventory update of the NAEI website.

Similarly, the 2016 greenhouse gas emissions corresponding to the UK NAEI will be published in summer 2018. Likewise the 2017 greenhouse gas emissions data (2017 NAEI) will be published in summer 2019.
