Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, which public bodies have obtained a transcript of the trial of Gurpal Virdi at Southwark Crown Court.
This question was answered on 10th May 2018
Transcripts of Crown Court proceedings, where requested, are produced by third party transcription companies.
Checks of the relevant transcription companies indicate that no transcript of the entire trial has been provided to a public body, although a transcript of one day of the hearing (31 July 2015) was requested by the Metropolitan Police on 28 October 2015.
