The Common Platform went live in Derby in September 2020 and since then has been rolled out to 101 courts (32 Crown Courts and 69 Magistrates’ Courts), which equates to 44% of the total number of all criminal courts.  It has managed over 100,000 criminal cases since rollout began.

HMCTS is currently discussing the next phase of delivering the system with operational leaders and the senior judiciary.
