Question to the Wales Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Wales, what information he holds on when the Welsh Government became aware of the possibility that a faulty computing system in the NHS in Wales may have been responsible as in England for the failure to register thousands of women for breast screening.
The Under-Secretary of State for Wales, Lord Bourne of Aberystwyth, discussed the matter with the Welsh Government Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Services last week and offered support to Welsh Ministers. Separately, officials from Public Health England have been in discussions with Public Health Wales.
