Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what recent discussions he has held with railway stakeholders on improving the accessibility of rail travel for disabled passengers.
The Department is committed to improving accessibility for all users of the rail network, including disabled passengers and those with additional needs. As such, my officials have regular dialogue with the Disabled Persons Transport Advisory Committee (DPTAC) and other stakeholders about a range of accessibility issues to ensure that this ambition is realised.
