Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many Royal Air Force personnel were seconded to serve in Saudi Arabia in each of the last five years; and what the roles and responsibilities have been of those personnel.

The number of RAF personnel on secondment in Saudi Arabia in each of the last five years is:

These personnel were all seconded to BAE Systems to provide training support to Royal Saudi Air Force aircrew and routine aircraft engineering support.
