Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether it is his policy to guarantee state subsidy of rent for tenants of service family accommodation after 2021.

The Ministry of Defence provides Service personnel and their families with subsidised accommodation in recognition of their inherently mobile lifestyles and frequently remote bases. We remain committed to our personnel, and Service accommodation charges are, and will continue to be, subsidised for Service personnel and their families.
