Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many men were sent to immediate custody from (a) Crown Courts and (b) magistrates' courts for sentences (i) below 6 months and (ii) 6 months or above in each police force area in England and Wales in each of the last five years.

The number of adult males sent to immediate custody from (a) Crown Courts and (b) magistrates' courts in each police force area in England and Wales can be found in the Court Outcomes by Police Force Area tool at:
