Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what the costs to the public purse were of defending the appeal in the case of Ahsan and others v SSHD [2017] EWCA Civ 2009.

When deciding whether to contest any litigation we will always consider the value for money of doing so. Costs for this matter have not been concluded to date.
