Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what representations he has received from animal welfare organisations on the terms of reference for the Godfray Review on badger culling.

As envisaged in its terms of reference, the Bovine TB Strategy Review has published a formal call for evidence and held meetings with several external organisations to inform its discussion of future priorities for disease control. This engagement provides an opportunity for people and organisations interested in the welfare of animals to submit information on relevant topics. The call for evidence closes on 31 May. All representations will be considered carefully.
