Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether he has plans to suspend or discontinue deportation charter flights.

The majority of enforced immigration returns are undertaken using scheduled flights alongside fare-paying passengers. Charter flight operations are an important means to return Foreign National Offenders and others without a right to remain in the UK where there are limited scheduled routes or where there could potentially be more disruptive immigration offenders.
