Affordable Housing: Construction

Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether the additional £2 billion in affordable housing funding announced on 4 October 2017 has been allocated.

At Spring Statement 2018 the Chancellor announced an additional £1.67 billion for the GLA to deliver an additional 26,000 affordable homes in London, bringing the total affordable housing budget for London to £4.8 billion to deliver 116,000 over six years. The approach to the remaining money in the programme will be announced shortly.
